Privacy Policy

In short: Speed Catcher doesn't collect any personal data. Your videos are analysed on your iPhone and never leave it. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
What the app uses, and why
- Camera. To record pitches. The video is analysed on your iPhone to measure the ball's speed. It is not uploaded or sent anywhere.
- Motion sensor. To tell which way is down, so the app knows how the phone is tilted. This is read on the phone and not stored or shared.
- Videos you choose. In Clip mode you can pick a slow-motion video from your library. The app only receives the one video you pick; it has no access to the rest of your photos.
What's stored on your iPhone
Your last 10 recordings are kept inside the app, with their readings, so you can look at them again. Older ones are deleted automatically, and you can delete any of them yourself. Settings such as your mound distance are also kept on the phone. Deleting the app deletes all of this.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, Apple ID, or payment details. Apple only tells the app whether a subscription is active.
What we collect
Nothing. The app doesn't send your videos, readings, location, contacts or any identifiers to us or to anyone else. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking services, and we don't sell or share data with third parties.
Children
Speed Catcher is used around youth sports. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
